Callanwolde Arts Festival is happening January 24th & 25th 2015-Atlanta

The Callanwolde Arts Festival is a two-day indoor festival. Located in one of the most distinctive historic properties in Atlanta, this event promises to become one of the premier partnerships of art institutions in the area. It is a festival for Artists by Artists, letting the artist have a voice in the creation and operations of the festival

This event will feature approximately 86 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, plus gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives and music and dance performances.

The 2014 Callanwolde Arts Festival is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, LLC and a board of experts in various artistic disciplines. The festival will uphold the highest standards supporting the arts, and offer participating artists the environment to nurture appreciation for their skills.

Celebrating Fall Colors at Atlanta’s “Best Local Festival”

The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is proud to announce the Sixth Annual Chastain Park Arts Festival on November 1st and 2nd in Atlanta, Georgia. Named Best Self Magazine’s “Best Local Festival,” the Chastain Park Arts Festival will transform the park into an outdoor art gallery to the backdrop of vibrant fall hues. This two-day event will feature up to 200 fine local and regional artists and artisans along tree lined Park Drive in Chastain Park. This is definitely and event that you do not want to miss!

Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area and local food and beverage concessions including the “gourmet” food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere in addition to live art demonstrations. This event is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and volunteer artists. Best of all, it’s entirely free to attend!

The Chastain Park area is rich with one of the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities in the Atlanta area. More than 50,000 visitors are expected over the weekend to view the many painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more! The Festival will also offer visitors the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, participate in hands-on art activities, and enjoy festival foods and beverages.

Fall Festival on Ponce 2014: October 18th and 19th-11-6p-Atlanta

The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is proud to announce the Fourth Annual Fall Festival on Ponce coming October 18th and 19th in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Fall Festival on Ponce is an Atlanta arts and crafts festival held in the historic Olmsted Linear Park. Visitors will enjoy the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr. , which was carefully restored by the Olmsted Linear Park Alliance. An estimated 20,000 visitors will attend this event with over 125 displays of fine art and crafts, folk and “outsider art.”


In addition to the abundance of unique art, there will be a children’s area, local gourmet food, beverages and a small stage for acoustic musical performances. Attendance is Free.

This is the third year that AFFPS will hold an outdoor arts and crafts festival in the chain of parks on Ponce de Leon Ave in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood. This event will be very conservative, with sensitivity and consideration for the park and surrounding neighborhood.

The two-day festival will be held in and around the Peachtree Hills Park & Recreation Center, including food, acoustic music and activities for kids.

78th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival is happening April 11, 12, 13, 2014 in Piedmont Park-Atlanta

Spring is in the air and that can only mean one thing in Atlanta: the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is back! The Dogwoods are in full bloom, and hundreds of artists from around the country will set up their tents for the 78th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

An Atlanta staple for more than 75 years, there is something for everyone at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Virtually every kind of art imaginable is represented at the festival, with a nationally renowned-juried Fine Artist Market that includes sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography and much more.

In addition to the fine art for adults and art collectors, there is a Kids Village featuring huge inflatables, arts & crafts and face painting for all ages, as well as the ever-popular 24-foot rock-climbing wall!

Sponsor booths are located throughout the Festival that will have everything from live radio remotes to great prizes and interactive games. No pet dogs are allowed at large outdoor events like the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, according to City of Atlanta ordinance.

Music has become an essential feature of the weekend’s festivities, and this year will be no different! A wide array of diverse musical offerings will fill the springtime air throughout the weekend! And when you get hungry, follow the delicious smells, of funnel cakes, gyros, crab cakes, onion rings, kettle corn and much, much more!

The 15th Annual ART PAPERS Art Auction is a weekend that has become the city’s most anticipated art event each year and its largest art auction.


Typically bringing together more than 250 renowned and emerging artists from around the world and drawing more than 1,500 attendees, the Art Auction offers art lovers the opportunity to build their collections while enjoying one or both of the great parties.

The events will feature an impressive showcase of work by famed and emerging artists from around the world benefiting ART PAPERS’ award-winning programs. This see and be seen event, features live music or DJ, fabulous people watching, collection-worthy art, high-end cocktails, plus hors d’oeuvres and desserts provided by some of Atlanta’s finest restaurants.

Oktoberfest Beer & Arts Festival is happening Oct 12,13th-Stone Mountain

Stone Mountain Village Georgia will host its 5th annual Oktoberfest Beer & Arts Festival on Saturday & Sunday, October 12th & 13th, at the corner of 6655 James B.
Rivers Drive and Main Street in Stone Mountain Village.


Main Street Stone Mountain, Inc. which spearheads the city’s revitalization efforts has partnered the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces (AFFPS) and the City of Stone Mountain to bring this fun, arts and cultural event to the Village.


The event will showcase approximately 50 professional and self-taught artists. Authentic German food and beer, as well as authentic German music and dancing will be featured. A kid’s play area and historic hay-ride through some of the city’s historic sites will round out the weekend.


Between 2,000 – 4,000+ attendees are expected over the two day period. Stone Mountain Village is located only 12 miles from downtown Atlanta and just outside Stone Mountain Park’s West Gate entrance/exit. Parking, admission and musical performances are FREE.

A3C [All 3 Coasts] is one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the US and takes place annually in Atlanta, GA. 


Now in its 9th year, A3C has grown from a local hip-hop showcase to an international festival, and incomparable cultural experience, including: Music, Art, Film, Style, Education, Pro-Audio and More.
