Field of Greens Festival Sept 30th 11-5-Walnut Grove



The Seventh Annual Field of Greens Festival, Georgia's sustainable farming fair, will take place at the 74-acre certified organic Whippoorwill Hollow Farm in Walnut Grove. 

The festival will feature Atlanta's and Athen's best farm-to-table chefs. The event will also spotlight several local small farms, Meals from the Market will include simple dishes prepared with seasonal vegetables, an inaugural pig roast, a Kids' Village with an inflatable, pony rides, arts & crafts, & more. Bring your family, your appetite, and your wallet for some home-grown fun!

11:00 am - FESTIVAL BEGINS
11:00 am - Meals from the Market event begins (until about 12:30pm)
12:30 pm - Chef Tent opens (until about 3:30pm or food runs out)
1:30 pm - Chef Demo with Justin Keith of Food 101: Pickling and Preserving
2:30 pm - Chef Demo with Kevin Ouzts of The Spotted Trotter: Charcuterie
4:00 pm - Pig Roast with Chef Todd Mussman
5:00 pm - FESTIVAL ENDS
