Dust off your finest green threads and prepare to celebrate
all-things-Irish. Atlantic Station is teaming up with Meehan’s Public
House to throw the 2nd annual Shamrock the Station, Atlanta’s largest
St. Patrick’s Day bash, March 16. The celebration will kick-off at noon with free, family-friendly afternoon activities featuring sand art, face painting, artificial tattoos and balloon art by Lucky O’Brien the clown.
A performance by the Mulligan Irish Dancers will take place at 2 p.m. and a special Nickelodeon meet-and-greet will last until 4 p.m. All family activities will conclude at 5 p.m. to prepare for the Shamrock the Station St. Patty’s Day concert.
Doors open to this ticketed event at 5:30 p.m. Our featured acts are Desire, a U2 tribute band, taking center stage at 6:30 p.m. and headliner Tonic performing at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and may be purchased at the Atlantic Station concierge desk. Admission is $20 the day of the event.
Events will be located in and around the newly renovated Central Park, located between Rosa Mexicano and Strip.
East District Avenue and West District Avenue will be open for pedestrian traffic only.
