The Little Five Fest, Atlanta’s premier musical make-merry, returns
for its second year to the heart of Little Five Points on September 29,
2012, with more bands, stages, and neighborhood participation than ever.
This year’s festival boasts several venues, including the Five Spot, 7
Stages, Criminal Records, Java Lords, Clothing Warehouse, Tijuana
Garage, Aurora Coffee, Elmyr, and the Star Community Bar, which
contributes three – upstairs, downstairs, and in the rear parking lot –
of the day’s eleven stages.
Noot d’Noot, Distal, Gringo Star, Fiend Without a Face (Brent Hinds of
Mastodon), the Coathangers, Jackie Chain, Smithsonian(The Smiths cover
band) and dozens more bands, rappers, and DJs play full bore from 1 p.m.
till last call. The 7 Stages Theatre also plans a special festival-day
matinee production of “Dracula: The Rock Opera” and offers exclusive
admission to Little Five Fest pass-holders
