Happy 4th of July

Today marks Independence Day for The United States of America (4th of July) The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain! We here at W2KW2G wish to highlight 4 places to visit to celebrate the day!


1. Lenox Mall: Will be celebrating with their  53rd Annual Legendary 4th day of games, food concessions,musical entertainment and the largest fireworks display in the Southeast. It's an HISTORIC event not to be missed! Music begins at 6p, fireworks at 9:35 (FAMILY)


2. Centennial Olympic Park: Offers fireworks display synchronized to a special selection of patriotic and popular music. Voted best fireworks display! Gates open at 6p (FAMILY)


3. Stone Mountain Park: AJC voters voted SMP as the best place in Atlanta to enjoy 4th of July fireworks. Enjoy a Lasershow, followed by a patriotic fireworks show finale! Lasershow at 9:30 (FAMILY)


4. Georgia Aquarium: Celebrate the 4th with tasty beer, live music and BBQ! The RED,WHITE & BREW event is held in Oceans ballroom and on the Aquarium parking deck rooftop. Sample beer and enjoy classic 4th BBQ and since the rooftop overlooks Centennial Olympic Park, you will also enjoy the fireworks without the crowd! Open at 6p (ADULTS 21+)
